Zach Yusufov, our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), brings a wealth of experience in technology and healthcare. Zach’s journey began in 1997 at Andersen Consulting as a technology consultant. His expertise quickly grew, and in 1998, he took on the role of Project Manager at Prudential Securities, where he led the modernization of the company’s Licensing & Registration System.
By 2003, Zach was Vice President at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, overseeing Application Development and Support for the Private Banking Technology division. His dedication to enhancing operational systems within the financial sector laid the foundation for his transition into healthcare.
In 2009, Zach teamed up with Danil Shabatay to acquire a Durable Medical Equipment firm, expanding the business with the addition of an O&P lab and a compounding pharmacy. Their vision for healthcare innovation continued to flourish, and in 2014, they co-founded AmeriHealth Group LLC, bringing together their expertise to transform the healthcare landscape.
Zach’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve patient care has been integral to WeHealth’s success. His leadership ensures that our platform remains at the cutting edge of healthcare technology, delivering seamless, connected experiences to our patients and providers alike.
Danil Shabatay, the visionary CEO behind WeHealth, has a career grounded in both finance and healthcare. Danil began his professional journey at Goldman Sachs as an associate in Global Equity Trade Management before moving to Accenture where he worked on capital market strategy consulting. His expertise in strategic acquisitions, mergers, and operational improvements led him to work with notable clients like AMEX, Royal Bank of Canada, and Merrill Lynch.
In 2009, Danil teamed up with Zach to acquire Alba Medical Supply, where he spearheaded operations, financial planning, marketing, and more. Under his leadership, Alba Medical achieved major milestones, including winning the Medicare Competitive Bidding, building a state-of-the-art O&P Lab, and launching a compounding pharmacy.
Driven by a passion for healthcare transformation, Danil co-founded Amerihealth Group in 2014 with the goal of uniting healthcare management under a common purpose, a vision that continues to guide his leadership at WeHealth.
